Apple is expanding App Store creative surfaces: product page header, search results, In-App Events (Apple Developer)
Apple confirms new App Store creative assets are coming, and points teams to best practices plus design templates. This is a reminder that store ‘placements’ are turning into creative inventory with real workflow impact.
Apple published a short note that is easy to skim but operationally important: new App Store creative assets are coming, and they will be used across multiple surfaces.

The one-line lesson
Treat store creative like a system, not a one-off launch task. If product page headers and search results become creative surfaces, you need templates, versioning, and an iteration cadence.
What Apple is signaling
- You can highlight more than in-use UI. Apple explicitly calls out brand, seasonal offerings, and new content.
- Assets can appear in multiple places. Product page header, search results, In-App Events, and more.
- They want you to plan before the fall launch. This is basically a heads-up to build the pipeline now, not the day before the placement ships.
Tiny win (60 minutes)
Create a “creative pack” checklist for the next release:
- 3 reusable headline frameworks (feature, outcome, proof)
- 2 seasonal variants (light and dark backgrounds)
- one export preset per placement
If you do this once, every future asset update gets cheaper.
